     Brief introduction of the Dean



    Dr. Mostafa Heydari was born in Esfarayen (North Khorasan) and he achieved his diploma in natural sciences in that city. He achieved his BSc degree in agriculture and plant breeding in 1996. He achieved his MSc and Ph.D. degree from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz in 2000 and 2006 respectively. He was a faculty member of Zabol University from 2006 to 2012 then he moved to Shahrood University of Technology and currently he is a faculty member of agriculture and plant breeding group of agriculture department of Shahrood University of Technology. His research focus is on the physiology of environmental stresses on crops and medicinal plants. He also published three books entitled: Physiology and mechanisms of resistance to environmental stresses in crops, the response of plants to environmental stresses and fundamentals of botany. He also published over 65 papers in English and Farsi journals.
